A new Chinese mobile phone has sliding screen and 10GB of RAM which makes it easier for super fast instant access.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is the newest smartphone of the Chinese brand, announced on Thursday, 25th October, 2018. The device is the third in the line of "infinite screen" models, and this time comes with two great highlights: sliding display and 10 GB of RAM.
The dual front camera of the device is hidden behind the screen. Just a slip, like that gesture of old cell phones, to reveal the two sensors. Unlike other Chinese phones like Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X, the slide is not motorized.
The system allows the Mi Mix 3 to have almost all the front part occupied by the screen - more precisely, 93.4% of the face of the device is only display. The edges are reduced and there is no notch.
This is also not the first smartphone with 10 GB of RAM in the world. This same week, the same Xiaomi announced the Black Shark 2 Helo, a cell phone aimed at the public gamer with this same memory option. Mi Mix 3, however, is not "gamer".
To complete the series, Xiaomi promised to launch a second version of Mi Mix 3 in the first quarter of 2019 with support for the upcoming 5G internet network. It is worth remembering that Huawei is also preparing a sliding phone with six cameras, while Oppo is expected to launch its own device with 10 GB of RAM soon.
The Mi Mix 3 has a 6.4-inch OLED FHD + screen (2,340 x 1,080); Snapdragon 845 processor; options from 6 GB of RAM; up to 256 GB of storage; 3,200 mAh battery; and dual cameras front (24 MP + 2 MP) and rear (12 MP + 12 MP).
The version with 10 GB of RAM is called "Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Palace Museum Edition" and has golden details, according to Engadget.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be available in the Chinese market for purchase from November, 2018 It starts to be sold in November for 5,000 yuan in China, equivalent to just under $719.90 in direct conversion for today and N262,485.63 in Nigerian naira. There is no information on the sale of this appliance outside of Asia.
