At 101, the legendary Kirk Douglas starred in one of the most emotional moments of the Golden Globes 2018 gala. It was when he took the stage accompanied by his daughter-in-law, Catherine Zeta Jones, to present the award for best script of a movie.
To the surprise, the audience of the Beverly Hilton immediately stood up to give her a standing ovation. It was the beautiful wife of her son Michael who took the floor to present the short list. "You said everything, I had a speech but I do not know whether to say it because I could not follow your steps," he joked from his wheelchair. "I'm a little old, I'd like to talk but nobody would understand."
The award was, finally, in the hands of Martin McDonagh, author of the script of Three notices for a crime, Missouri.
