UTME 2017 efacility |
The period of rumours on UTME 2017 registration is over. Candidates seeking to write this college entrance examination which is known popularly by the name UTME are advised to take part in the pre-registration exercise. This involves the creation of a candidate's profile on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
To create your profile on JAMB portal, this blog post will guide you through the procedures for pre-registration. This will help you to register on your own. Hence, you are not going to spend your money on agents to create your profile. You can sit at the comfort of your home and do it yourself, provided that you have a working internet connection. The exercise is totally free.
If this is not the first time that you will be writing the UTME examination, there is a possibility that your profile is already on the official JAMB Portal. Notwithstanding the availability of profile on JAMB portal, you are required to create a new profile because each profile created for UTME 2017 comes with a unique code. This code is sent to successfully created profiles, and it is what you will carry along with you to the Computer Based Test (CBT) centre during registration. However, we are not certain if JAMB is planning on making this code available for existing profiles. We will keep you updated if there is a provision for such profiles.
