Nigerian Professional Football League 2015/2016 season match day 17 fixtures returns on Sunday, 15th May, 2016 after an enthralling match day 16 showdown that produced six home wins, two away wins and two draws, as well as, a total of twenty-five (25) goals scored from the ten fixtures played at different centres in the country.
The first fixture was played yesterday, Saturday 14th May, 2016 in the commercial city of Umuahia.
Enyimba Int'l FC entertained FC Ifeanyi Ubah at home and needed a home win after getting only a win from three previous home matches. With their six-game unbeaten run, a win was very possible to increase their unbeaten streak to seven matches. Two goals were scored by Ikechukwu Ibenegbu and Etor Daniel respectively, which gave Enyimba FC a 2 – 0 win at home to FC Ifeanyi Ubah who paraded foreign players.

Rangers Int'l FC vs Ikorodu United FC
The league leaders Rangers Int'l FC will stay at home in Enugu on Sunday afternoon to face Ikorodu United FC who is currently occupying the bottom position on the log.
Prior to this encounter, Rangers Int'l FC lost their midweek match to Sunshine Stars FC while Ikorodu United FC played out a draw on Wednesday 11th May, 2016. Ikorodu United FC held Plateau United FC to a 2 – 2 goal draw at the Onikan Waterfront Pitch, while Rangers FC match with Sunshine Stars FC ended up with a 2 – 1 home victory for the Akure based club.
Rangers Int'l FC will come into the match strong and the fans are expecting nothing less than a win. Kickoff: 4:00PM.
