President Buhari Presented Empty Box As Budget To The Senate

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday morning of 22nd December, 2015 arrived the National Assembly chamber to present the 2016 National Budget to a joint session of the parliament.

The presentation event commenced with a rendition of the National Anthem followed by prayers said by adherents of Nigeria’s two major religions (Christianity and Islamic religions).

However, barely three (3) weeks after the budget was unfurled Nigerians are currently searching for the whereabouts of the 2016 budget.

Meanwhile, the Director New Media - People's Democratic Party (PDP), Adeyanju Deji, on Tuesday evening via Twitter said that the 2016 budget was really not missing as over 22 Senators have confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari submitted an empty box during the budget presentation.
