2017 NPFL Table: Week 13 Results, Standings and Week 14 Fixtures

The Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 13 fixtures took place over the weekend. The first fixture for the week was played on Saturday, 11th March, 2017 between Enyimba Int'l FC and MFM FC in Calabar, Cross River State.

Enyimba's coach, Gbenga Ogunbote made three important changes to the squad that lost 1 - 3 to Kano Pillars in Kano. Ghanaian Fatau Dauda replaced Theophilus Afelokhai in goal, Isiaka Oladuntoye came in for Ifeanyi Anaemena in the defensive line and Joseph Osadiaye took Stanley Dimgba's place in the lineup.

The encounter came into limelight when the NPFL 2017 season top scorer, Stephen Odey gave the visitors the lead midway through the first 45 minutes. However, Enyimba Int'l FC pushed harder and their efforts paid off with an equaliser late into the second half of the game. The result at the UJ Esuene Stadium stood at Enyimba Int'l FC 1 - 1 MFM FC after the blast of the final whistle.

Other fixtures for the week 13 of 2017 NPFL season were played on Sunday, 12th March, 2017 with Plateau United FC of Jos securing a 2 - 0 win over Kano Pillars FC to maintain their position at the top of the NPFL Table. While Remo Stars recorded a 3 - 0 win to move from the bottom to the 19th position on the standings.

The matches involving Rangers Int'l FC and Rivers United FC were postponed because of CAF Champions League fixtures played over the weekend. Rivers United FC defeated El-Merreikh 3 - 0 at home, while Rangers Int'l FC succumbed to Zamalek 1 - 4 in Egypt.
